New York – New York, it’s a wonderful city! A city vacation that many people have not experienced, by definition, to the fullest, can be exhilarating, active, exciting, highly enjoyable, and romantic. The “Big Apple”, the “City that never sleeps” – New York is a city of superlatives: the largest in the United States; its most exciting; its business and cultural capitals; the nation’s trendsetter. The city seems to attract the best and brightest from all corners of the country.

In my humble opinion, this city has had a bad reputation based on the news that used to get all over the media 10-15 years ago. What some may consider the negative aspects of a city with a population of around 10,000,000 people, concomitant crime, affecting both residents and visitors, has seen a continuous dramatic reduction from 1993 to 2004 that has continued for the last 5 years, resulting in thanks, in part, to a concerted effort by local authorities. A cleaner, brighter and safer New York attracts people from all over the world who come to enjoy the city. The city is in the Renaissance and can offer a vacation of attractions to explore, such as history, commerce and world politics, not to mention tourist interests and sizzling nightlife. But don’t let me get ahead of you. Here is a brief summary of why New York City is a must experience.

If you prefer classical music, the New York Philharmonic, the Boston City Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra come to New York to perform.
