Dr. Joseph Michael Levry, a world-renowned yogi, mystic, universal teacher of Kabbalah, and founder of Naam Yoga, has created two dozen stunningly beautiful meditation CDs. Whether he practices yoga, meditation, or any form of holistic healing, including massage, Reiki, and everything in between, he’ll find something on these meditation music CDs that appeals to him. I’ve decided to review one of my favorites below, though to be honest, I love them all!
The Dr. Joseph Michael Levry CD that I absolutely cannot live without is The Sounds of the Ether. Aptly named, because listening to these otherworldly tunes will make you feel like you’ve been lifted above the clouds with nothing but Heaven’s peace and guidance to surround and comfort you. The CD features five unique tracks. Four tracks include mantra or sacred prayers, while the fifth, although it seems purely instrumental, actually has very deep and powerful vocals that have to be heard to be believed. The original music is upbeat, soulful, and totally uplifting. So much so that buying this CD just for the beats is a bargain. The music, however, is only the beginning of the magic. The prayers recorded on each track are said to open doors to opportunity and remove obstacles to success. As someone who has had enough time to put this claim to the test, I can certainly attest to its powerful effects not only on my own life, but on my friends and family as well.
Take the first track, for example, it has been specifically included on this CD for the sole purpose of providing the practitioner with a powerful tool to overcome a challenge, break out of a rut, or simply break through any form of internal or external blockage. And let me tell you, it delivers in a big way. My brother Richard is a writer who writes for, among other things, a home business column, an aspiring writers blog, and various other publications. About a year ago he was inspired to write a book about his own experience as a journalist turned entrepreneur. He threw himself into his new project with immense passion and finished more than half of the first draft in a week. Then something happened. It’s as if the fire is out and Richard is lucky if he writes two pages at the end of a full day.
This continued for a couple of months and it quickly became apparent to me that Richard was suffering from a severe case of writer’s block. So what did I do being the good brother that I am?
