Prince of Persia Warrior Inside Review

A year after the release of Prince of Persia Sands of Time, this bad boy was brought to the scene of third-person sword fighting games. You may remember what I said about Sands of Time saying I was downright gay. Well, Warrior Within is the opposite of that; totally bad and cool. If you are interested in what I have to say about this game, keep reading.

The game.

I guess the designers of the Prince of Persia series realized that Sands of Time was pretty gay, so they released a new POP; Inner warrior. Warrior Within is aimed at a much more mature audience. In other words, there is blood; lots of blood and some sex scenes. The combat system is much more evolved, you can perform really bad combos, throw weapons, decapitate enemies, etc. You can still jump on enemies, except this time you can slash them from various angles. While mutilating your enemies, you have excellent metal soundtracks to accompany the fight. Warrior Within focuses more on the violent sides of things, of course you can still climb walls and jump. You don’t have your dagger when the game starts, but you will find it later.

the history

The story begins where Sands of Time left off, just several more years in the future. The world is back to normal, but a hot girl attacks your ship and literally kicks you out. You soon discover that someone is trying to create the Sands of Time again, so you set out to stop them. The prince is constantly tormented by a demon named Dahaka. The reason why Dahaka is chasing you is because you are not following your timeline, you were supposed to die but you used the dagger to save yourself and change your timeline. Naturally, since Dahaka is supposed to protect time, he is quite pissed off and wants to devour you. Of course, you can’t let him do that, so you are constantly on the run. So, you have your mission to fulfill, enemies to destroy and the Dahaka to flee from; As you can imagine, the game is quite intense. In my opinion, warrior inside is one of the best third person sword fighting games, if you are looking for a good sword fighting game, I recommend Warrior Within. I give the game an 8/10.
