“Hitzville” star Jin-Jin Reeves brings Motown to Las Vegas

In the early 1960s, when music was having another resurgence, it took the vision of an innovative music producer to start one of the largest record labels in history. This development also gave rise to one of the most distinct musical styles in the country. Motown Records was started by legendary music producer Berry Gordy. Based in Detroit, Motown Records brought a distinctive R + B sound to radio that many people hadn’t heard at the time. Great bands, jazz beats and unique voices merged to bring a whole new sound to the radio waves. It was here that music legends Diana Ross, Glayds Knight, Tina Turner began and ultimately brought them to world fame.

It was this sound and this style that influenced a young Jennifer (Jin-Jin) Reeves. At a very young age, Jennifer displayed a natural talent for songwriting, dancing, and singing. It wasn’t until she was a teenager that she began studying acting to further expand her artistic abilities. As all of this was going on, Detroit was experiencing its own artistic peak, which gave Jin-Jin the perfect opportunity to go out and make a name for himself. It wasn’t long before she concentrated on singing and finally made it her profession. It began to attract a lot of attention from music legends such as Gladys Knight and Berry Gordy. The Julliard School also took note of what Jin-Jin was doing. After years of honing her craft, Jennifer began sharing the stage with artists like The Temptations and Barry White. After appearing in countless stage productions and even the American Music Awards, Jennifer “Jin-Jin” Reeves had arrived. Her all-round talent makes her one of the best entertainers in the entertainment world. It is these attributes that earned him the title role in one of the most popular Motwon magazine shows on the Las Vegas Strip, “Hitzville: The Show.”

“Hitzville: The Show” takes all the best of that classic Motown sound and brings it straight to the Las Vegas stage. That soulful R&B sound.
