Cell Phones and Brain Cancer: Truth Be Told

It’s interesting that we’ve seen a lot about cell phone challenges in the media lately. I’ve read articles in USA Today, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, and on television on CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC. What worries me is that there were studies in Switzerland in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 and yet it was like there was a media blackout here in the United States. And keep in mind that this was when cell phones were changing from 3 watt phones, which is much more power and therefore more microwave intensity.

I mean, they were much worse back then for the human biosystem, and antennas were also more robust, and cell phone towers were further apart, averaging 7 miles or more, today more like 3 miles. This higher power setup and larger antennas means more brain cooking! At that time we were told that there was nothing to worry about; perfectly harmless, now we find out, well actually they weren’t.

Recently, on May 24, 2011, an interesting book review article on Accelerating Intelligence by Kurzweil appeared online titled “Unplugging: The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation, What the Industry Has Done to Hide It, and how to protect your family” – Devra Davis, published by Dutton Adult, 2010. The book review says;

“Explosive and long-awaited exposure of how cell phone use damages brain cells, especially in children, from one of the world’s foremost scientific experts in the field: a series of recent and long-suppressed research in this timely bomb. Cell phone radiation is a national emergency. Surprisingly, the most popular device of our age has been shown to damage DNA, break down the brain’s defenses, and reduce sperm count while increasing memory loss , the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and even cancer.

You see, here’s a gentleman who wrote an entire book on the subject, not just a corny article for the mainstream media. He has all the studies, research, including these latest studies that everyone is reading about how cell phone radiation is causing DNA to break down and that cell phones are carcinogenic.

That’s a scary thing, and what about pregnant moms with their cell phones strapped to their hips wearing blue tooth in their ear? Their brains are safe in that case, but how is their unborn baby doing there, I ask. There are still more questions, but if you want some real answers, I guess I’d recommend this book too. Please consider all of this.
