How to be an alpha male: transform now

Characteristics of an alpha male

One of the reasons I decided to write this post is because most of the “how to become an alpha male” literature never tells you HOW to become an alpha. They simply tell you what an alpha male is like.

Well, I’ll get to the how part later, but it’s also a good start to recognizing the qualities of an alpha male.

When you think of the characteristics of an alpha male, what comes to mind?

These are some of the main qualities that make up an alpha male:

  1. high status
  2. composition
  3. Domain
  4. Assertiveness
  5. Leadership
  6. decision
  7. Confidence

These are all part of the equation, but none of them fully capture what an alpha male really is. In fact, these are all byproductsPrayed symptom to be alpha. As a result, you won’t necessarily become more alpha if you try to cultivate these traits.

If you only address the symptoms of being an alpha male, maybebecome an alpha male. If you really want to become an alpha male, you have to go to the source of the problem.

Premise #1: Most people are stuck and alpha males are FREE.

Think about it.

If you felt totally free to be whoever you wanted to be, wouldn’t you naturally be more dominant?

Won’t you take the initiative?

Wouldn’t you be more determined and assertive?

Most people are totally imprisoned by the expectations of other people. Most people can hardly do anything without worrying about ridiculous rejection from their friends and society.

They allow themselves to be defined by the social group and, consequently, must act in accordance with that identity. Beta males often feel like they don’t have permission to do the things they really want to do. Can you relate to this?

In simple words:

  1. Most beta males are obsessed and oppressed by the need to “fit in” with the social group.
  2. The alpha male is a man who is FREE. He does not need to fit into the social group and, as a result, he has the power to lead the social group.

An alpha male is a man who is psychologically free to speak his mind and do what he wants, without feeling inhibited or caring what others think. East freedomit is what allows an alpha male to be dominant, confident, assertive, etc.

Put another way, a domineering/confident guy who isn’t free is a phony. A bossy or overly controlling person is someone who is assertive but not free. The pompous asshole boss who belittles his employees may be an example of a leader who is not free.

None of these people earn the respect a true alpha male deserves. Everyone continues to depend on other people for approval.

Premise #2: An alpha male sees himself as a king, a beta male just wants to be seen as a king.

Alpha males have a strong concept of who they are and what they deserve. They have a high opinion of themselves and pay much more attention to what they think of themselves than what other people think of them.

Let me put it another way:

  1. Alpha males have an unshakable concept of who they are. Alpha males are convinced that they are the shit, and there is nothing anyone can do to convince them otherwise.

Most alpha males have self-respect and believe that they deserve the respect of others. Even more than that, alpha males DEMAND respect from others. This comes from their clear concept of who they think they are and what they think they deserve.

Beta males are very insecure about themselves. They’re not sure who they are, so, for example, if a hot girl tells a beta guy, “You’re ugly!” the beta guy will be totally shocked because she will start thinking that maybe he it is ugly…

The first key to becoming an alpha male is gaining a clear understanding of who you are and what you deserve.

In other words, stop going around trying to make everyone think you’re a king. Instead, do whatever it takes to convince yourself that you are a king.

Premise #3: Alpha males are “blind” to external standards.

Part of the reason alpha males can continue to believe they are kings is that they are deaf, dumb and blind to outside comments that say they are not.

The first step to becoming free is to let go of the standards of society that are holding you back.

From all directions, society tells you that YOU are a nobody, a beta male.

  1. Hot girls on TV and in real life look at you and tell you that you’re not good enough.
  2. Rich beta males show off their expensive cars.
  3. People keep looking at you and saying, why do you think you’re good enough?

If you accept these kinds of superficial standards of society, you will not be able to have the freedom that allows you to be an alpha male.

As an alpha male, you need to stop measuring yourself by outside standards and ONLY measure yourself by your own standards. When you set the rules for how and when you feel good about yourself, you have the freedom to become an alpha male.

These are some of the ways people measure themselves against external standards. As a future alpha male, you have to stop doing these things.

  1. Compare yourself with other people. When you compare yourself to other people, you depend on them to make you feel good or bad… This catches you and you don’t do it.
  2. Seeking the approval of others. When you do this, you will only get a finite amount of approval. Alpha males just cut to the chase and approve of themselves.
  3. Make sense of identity from external events. This means that when someone says something about you, you let it define who you think you are. If they say you’re a loser, you start to think you’re more of a loser. Don’t let other people define who you are, define yourself.
  4. Put value on external things like money, cars, luxury. Just judge people based on their character, when you do, you won’t become a beta male every time someone else has more stuff than you.
  5. Get bogged down by failure. When most people fail at something, they equate it with failure. Again, this comes from attaching external value to success. “Failure” at something should have nothing to do with your self-concept.
  6. Blaming other people for your problems. When you blame other people for your problems, you see yourself as a victim of the world. Alpha males are not victims, EVER! If you want to become more alpha, you have to transform your perspective from someone who is in effect, to someone who is in charge of your reality.

Putting It All Together: How To Change From A Beta Male To An Alpha Male

Like I said before, you can only become an alpha male by challenging yourself and experiencing life. But I have a metaphor that I used to “convince” myself of the alpha condition. And it was a good start for cultivating alpha behavior.

I think all guys deep down are alpha. They don’t know or remember.

The first step to becoming an alpha male is to believe deep down that you have a high self-worth. I call him, believing you to be a king.

I like the term king because I use it as a metaphor.

Beta males know that they are not kings and do not deserve to be kings, but they try to look like kings at all costs.

In the real world, this manifests in men doing things to look impressive, or men relying on some superficial title to gain status. (by the way, ALL external titles are shallow). So the guy who’s a DJ, or a promoter, or a Hollywood actor, or rich, or has a chiseled body, all these men who depend on these external things for status are imposters.

Of course, some alpha males have those same titles, but they don’t TRUST these titles for glory.

Why?

Because alpha males deep down BELIEVE they are kings. It does not matter that.

They could be a king in pauper’s clothes, but they are still a king. Maybe they have a homeless bank account. They may be overthrown by mutiny; no matter, in their minds, they are still the rightful king, and this belief allows them to continue to engage in those alpha behaviors that women find so irresistibly attractive.

My metaphor for helping beta males believe they are alpha

Think of yourself as a king…

Haven’t you done SOMETHING to be worthy of royalty? If so, then you ARE a king, you have EARNED it.

The only problem is that you keep forgetting that you are a king…

You are a king with amnesia.

Okay, if a king has amnesia, he’s still a king, right?

So you’re a king with amnesia…

but wait, there’s more… you too woke up in beggar’s clothes…

Can you think of the implications of this? This means that you start to think that you are homeless based on your external signs, because you have amnesia and HAVE NO IDEA of who you are.

But now that you remember that you are a king, you must learn to ignore your pauper’s clothes and act like a king. Even if other people only see the poor man’s clothes and treat you like a commoner. They don’t see the real you, and that’s understandable.

But it gets worse. There’s one more thing I didn’t mention…

You are a king with amnesia, in pauper’s clothes, and you woke up tied to a chair and forced to watch a movie designed to brainwash you.

This movie is society. Society is constantly trying to trick you into believing that money makes an alpha male, or a woman, or whatever.

If you accept the movie, you will lose your alfadom… you must realize that this movie is fake.

The film is designed to make you forget that you are a king and start chasing the approval of society so that one day you will be “good enough”.

When you get to the point where:

  1. You are convinced that you are a king.
  2. You ignore your very poor clothes and only recognize your real identity card
  3. You abandon forever that movie that is designed to brainwash you

Then you will be FREE, as an alpha male, and then you will have the power to cultivate that dominance, leadership, confidence, and happiness that only true alpha males enjoy.
