Before you can create an animated GIF, you need to find a third-party mobile GIF maker. The internet is full of people who choose to offer their GIF makers for free or for a nominal fee. As with any online product, before deciding to use one creator over another, it’s important to do some research, especially if you’re asked to purchase the mobile GIF maker without trying it out first.

Once you find a manufacturer that suits your needs, you’ll need to download the app to your mobile device. Depending on the type of phone you use, the manufacturer can be found in your app store or the Google Play store. Once the app has been downloaded, you will need to launch it to start using it.

Once launched, tap your finger on the video icon located on your phone. Depending on the type of device you are using, the video maker may be in the top left corner or the bottom left corner of your screen.
