This is the scenario, I am sure it will be familiar to you. Day after day you go to your local Starbucks, Caffe Nero or Costa, and there she is, the sexy girl of your dreams. Be honest, you probably drink a lot more coffee there than you really want to, because she’s there, day after day, until, inevitably, one day her new boyfriend arrives.

In the jargon of pick-up artists, these women are called sicarios. These are women you meet at work where social interaction is part of their job description.

What you really want to do is get that girl out of the cafeteria and into your arms, but you never know how. They may exchange a few words of conversation, but you can tell she’s always on autopilot. You might just ask her out directly, but she’ll be busy that night, and all the other…

The first thing you need to do is be social with the rest of the bar staff, especially the guys. This may seem counterintuitive, but consider how much stronger your impression on her will be when the first time she really notices you is in the middle of a fun and/or interesting conversation with one of her colleagues. He will sense that he wants to be a part of the interaction, and you are in a position of power and authority by allowing him in. This avoids the scenario where, as the girl behind the counter in actual charge of the situation, you are subservient to her.

In particular, you need to establish who the alpha male and female are in the environment. These are usually the senior staff there and often will have hired her. It is vital that you make friends with these people, preferably before you even talk to them.

The second thing you need to do is take the girl off autopilot. He plays with her, challenges her, makes her think. The theory here is that most of her day goes by in a blur, you want to be the guy who stands out in her memory. He orders something ridiculous, have him explain the exciting range of drinks on offer, and tease her while he politely does so. Accuse her of making you a poor drink, then next time praise her for improving it, this way you give off an air of command. Never take anything seriously.

Touch is a very important technique used by all good pick-up artists. Make sure your hand brushes against hers when you pass her drink, just enough that it might be accidental, but she knows it probably isn’t. Maintain eye contact at all times. You will discover, unconsciously, that you and she are really CLICKING.

You will find out after a while that she will come and talk to you after these daily encounters and you can start talking about more important things, like when she is free and wants to do something cool…
