How to use video marketing to build relationships, recruit and mentor others for FREE

Friend, I hope you have a great day. You know, I love this business. I don’t know of any other business that gives us a better opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. Today more than ever before people want a better life. This is where we come in.

We are on a journey in our lives to become better people and TRULY have the ability through our marketing to reach many more people than we could in our local market.

More than ever people want to see you and interact with you. With the advent of social media (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Squidoo) people connect with each other and build friendships and relationships every day. I don’t know of any other medium that is more POWERFUL to build relationships than VIDEO MARKETING.

Creating videos is really a simple task to do. In fact, I’m not going to go into all the technical details about which camera to use or lighting.

I am going to share with you the EXACT steps I take to GROW my business using video marketing. I don’t claim to be a video marketing expert, but through my videos I have seen many sales and relationships built. I’ll keep this lesson simple so you can start using this marketing strategy in your business today.

Many laptops come equipped with a webcam. You can use this or a flipcam. I prefer a mini camera with a tripod. Many built-in cameras don’t provide good quality video, so be careful.

For example, when I started out, I used my built-in laptop camera. The image was decent, but I wanted a better image, so I went with a mini camcorder. My camcorder captures 680,000 pixels. Just look at your budget and decide what is best for you. My point is that you don’t need a video studio to get started. There are many inexpensive ways to go. Just make sure your camera captures at least 1300 pixels.

Your videos can be optimized to be easy to find on search engines just like your articles and websites.

You definitely want to sign up for a free YouTube account. They are by far the #1 video sharing website. Next, sign up for a free account at TubeMogul. TubeMogul will allow you to upload a video and share it with various video marketing sites on autopilot.

Once you’ve set up your accounts, sit down and brainstorm 5-10 topics with compelling titles. Make sure your titles are keyword focused.

Then just relax and be yourself. Remember that people want to see you and engage with you and your message. Your video doesn’t have to be perfect to get leads. In fact, many of the cheesier videos will be viewed. The trick is to have a compelling description and then take advantage of YouTube’s popularity in search engines for SEO purposes.

Also, when you ask people to comment on your videos or have links back to your videos, this will also increase your search engine traffic.

As for editing software, I use two programs. One is FREE and ok (does the job) and the other is paid and OUTSTANDING: ‘CAMTASIA’. I highly recommend getting your FREE trial of Camtasia if you really want to get into video marketing.

If you go to Camtasia.com, you can download a 30-day free trial and then purchase it for $299.00.

Camtasia will actually allow you to record your screen for training videos and a host of other video editing techniques. All the major producers in this industry that I know of use CAMTASIA or something similar. Once you’ve edited and saved your video to your computer, the next step is to upload it to YouTube or TubeMogul.

On YouTube you will be asked to fill out a description. This is the section where you will place a keyword-focused description of what your video and URLs are about.

Once uploaded, TubeMogul or YouTube will do the rest. The last thing I want to say about video marketing is that you definitely want to create a channel on YouTube and attach your videos to all your other websites like blogs, social media sites, and your website.

Use this friendly knowledge to start creating videos and spreading them all over the web today. You will make new friends and ATTRACT PASSIONATE and HIGHLY SPECIFIC prospects to your business. If you leave your phone number, it won’t be long before your prospects are calling you.

Please take this information and run with it!
