Invent, invent and the constant flow of novelty

In the world of new product development, we developers and inventors must see the need for a constant stream of new stuff. It is consumers’ desire to see new items in retail stores that helps drive customers through the doors.

It is a simple matter of following the path of attraction. We inventors need to attract manufacturers to our inventions and new products. Manufacturers need to entice retailers to buy these inventions and new products. Retailers need to attract customers to their stores to buy.

With a constant stream of new arrivals, manufacturers can introduce more new products to retailers in hopes of bringing more stuff to shelves. Retailers can then pass on that stream of news to their customers. Sure, some of these products may not sell to consumers, but having the retailer offer something new will help get customers through the door.

So how does this constant stream of news affect Davison’s business model? Through Inventegration, we are able to offer corporations a constant stream of new products, developed to meet their business model. If you’re familiar with Davison, you know that invention is the process of integrating an invention into a manufacturer’s current way of doing business. Now, using this streamlined new product development process, we aim to help inventors get their products ready with manufacturing drawings, packaging, and a product sample in front of a manufacturer and help corporations find more new products to present to buyers. .

Typically, a corporation may only have one or two new products to show off to a potential buyer. Through Inventegration, Davison tries to help our corporate clients bring 20-30 items to a buyer’s meeting. A buyer may say no to everything at this meeting, but the manufacturer who introduced the products will be the one remembered for knowing what the retailer wants, a constant stream of new stuff. They will be the innovators over the rest, with little or no new developments in their portfolio.
