Before you can fully master PvP with your rogue, there are some useful tips for rogue PvP that you need to know.

First of all, you need to choose the right equipment. The most important stat will be the hit rate. After all, if you miss, you do no harm. Maxing out your hit rate will ensure you get the most out of every time you hit with your weapons, and as a rogue, you hit much faster than most other classes. After the hit rating, you can start accumulating critical, haste, and armor penetration.

As far as your core stats are concerned, you should only focus on agility and stamina. Strength is now useless as a rogue and you definitely don’t need spirit or intellect.

Another one of my Rogue PVP tips is to use the correct spec. Now the specs will be determined by your particular style of play, but there are still some recommended specs you should use to be most effective in PvP combat. Most people like to do burst damage to take down opponents as quickly as possible. You’ll want to use an assassination and finesse build to achieve high burst damage.

One of the most overlooked aspects of PvP is the glyphs you use. The same glyphs you use in PVE for dungeons and heroics don’t always work for PVP. A lot of the Rogue PVP tips I see online don’t mention this. Glyphs are determined by the spec you use, so you can’t assume the same glyphs will work no matter what spec you have. You need them to satisfy your build.

Minor glyphs are the only exception. The best minor glyphs you need as a rogue are:
