The Transfagarasan highway links the famous regions of Transylvania and Wallachia. It is an experience that you should definitely try to achieve at least once in your life.

The Turda Salt Mine is a salt mine, located in the city of Turda, in Durgau-Valea Sarata, the second largest city in Cluj County. The development of the salt mine was carried out between the years 2008-2010. Consequently, some contemporary visit criteria were incorporated: an elevator with a bird’s eye view was installed, a wheel with gondolas, a leisure space with a dock where travelers could embark. The lighting in the mine enhances its atmosphere. The neons rising from the ceiling and the radiantly lit structures would make tourists think they are in a different era. The temperature of the salt mine is quite low, and it is suggested to wear warm clothes.
