Can I drink diet sodas on a candida diet?

I am trying to address some questions in this article because you are still having problems like these. How long does it take you to recover after having something that was not good for you? Also, can a diet soda get you in trouble?

The answer is definitely yes, it has many colors, flavors, sweeteners, etc. artificial. It’s really bad for anyone. A friend’s urine always burns and can sometimes reach her bowel area. It also causes a reduction in the flow of urine in it.

Speaking of which, someone reads a terrifying report about the artificial sweetener in soft drinks (aspartame). It can cause serious neurological problems and should be avoided at all costs. It can be like a poison to the human body and especially to the mind. So drink carbonated water when you miss soda. It’s not perfect, but it’s cold so it’s okay and has nice bubbles.

Carbonated water is better, but because it is carbonated it is not pH neutral. I think it is very acidic, which is what we should avoid. Also, the sugars in diet drinks create carbohydrate cravings.

Since I read all the “stuff” about Candida, aspartame is mentioned numerous times. Anything that contains Nutra-sweet is aspartame. If you do a search for aspartame, you will find lists of the effects this can have on the human body (including neurological damage). Many of the listed side effects are compared to the side effects I have had that I have ruled to be Candida.

Someone always wonders why chewing ‘sugar-free’ gum gives them headaches 10 minutes after they start chewing it. He did his research on aspartame and candida and discovered that aspartame is found in “sugar-free” gum. Now he just drinks filtered water (and takes his antifungals). He doesn’t chew gum and he doesn’t have headaches.

I just hope that one day I don’t have to take the pills and feel good at the same time. My advice is to check the ingredients in everything you intend to eat and not eat or drink anything with aspartame. It will make you feel better anyway!
