How to lose weight with chia seeds

Have you ever received a Chia pet as a Christmas gift? Remember those amazing commercials with the cute jingle… CH*CH*CH*CHIA!

Well, chia seeds are a superfood! Did you know that? I’m slightly, okay, maybe MAJORLY obsessed with chia seeds ever since I learned about them and started using them and seeing and feeling the results.

As well as growing “hair” on cute pets, heads, and even celebrities:

Chia seeds can help you:

  • End hunger when you eat it and keep you feeling full for longer!
  • Balance your blood sugar level and delay the conversion of carbohydrates to sugar
  • It can give you more ENERGY and NO jittery feeling
  • Chia seeds are a complete protein and a source of Omega-3 oil, calcium, fiber and magnesium.

And the best thing is that they are tasteless! This is not an unpleasant tasting thing that you have to hold your nose to eat.

Here is the skinny one with CHIA SEEDS,

  • You must soak them to use them! This is super important because they absorb liquid, so they are great for hydration. These critters absorb 9 times their weight in water, so they help you feel full, and when you feel full, you eat less and weigh less… I love it!
  • How to soak them? Easy again! Simply take a tablespoon of the dried seeds – they look like very small dinosaur eggs – and place them in a large cup of water (about 8-10 ounces), stir to remove any clumps or lumps, and let them soak for at least 10 minutes. . Soaking is VIP, since the seeds absorb water, if they are not soaked before eating, they can dehydrate you, instead of rehydrating you. Simply soak, and after about 10 minutes a gel forms in the water, and that’s it!
  • How to use them? You can eat them by the spoonful, add them to juices, soups or even hot cereals. Since they don’t change the flavor of your food, it really depends on your imagination.

My favorite way is to prepare a delicious refreshing drink that is very easy and keeps me full… and that satiety helps me eat less and therefore lose weight!

CHIA ENERGETIC WATER

  • Take 2-4 teaspoons of your *soaked* chia seeds
  • Add 8-12 ounces of water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • A little agave nectar (optional if you want it a little sweet)
  • Mix and drink buttercup!

Where do you get chia seeds? Chia seeds are really inexpensive and can be purchased at any health food store or larger market like WholeFoods. They last up to 2 years, in a cool, dry space, and won’t go rancid like other seeds.

Using chia seeds can really help you maintain your health and weight loss goals without any side effects or the use of unnatural products.
